10 Reasons Why Computer Conversion Clips Make The Best Clip-On Computer Reading Lens

Computer use in business is becoming the standard mode of operation today. If you are over 40 years old and working on the computer for most of the day, than chances are you have probably experienced some of the most common side effects of computer vision syndrome. The symptoms include eyestrain, fatigue, red eye, blurry vision, double vision, eye’s burning, neck and shoulder pain as well as lower back pain. Solving this problem involves a visit to your favorite eye doctor.

Optometry has been working to help solve computer vision problems since the invention of the desktop. Optometric eye exams will result in the doctor giving you a current prescription for general wear purposes for distance and reading (for the over 40 crowd), and usually a second pair of task specific glasses for working at a desk with a computer. One pair of glasses will not give you the visual relief from intense computer use when the primary use of the eyeglasses includes the distance prescription. If the cost of an extra pair of glasses is more than you want to spend, than a low cost alternative would be to purchase a pair of clip-on computer glasses. Not all computer reading clip-ons are the same, so here are ten reasons why Computer Conversion Clips (CCC’s) are considered the best among the optical community professionals.

1. High quality digital optics will give the computer user an extra-wide sharper viewing field across the entire lens to see the computer monitor.

2. Thinner lightweight lenses will create less of a problem with eyeglasses slipping down your nose than the other bulky cumbersome clip-on lenses.

3. Acrylic material has better light transmission properties than the standard polycarbonate lenses that all the other clips use. Acrylic is more scratch resistant than polycarbonate and does not turn yellow with age. Acrylic is used for motorcycle helmets for these reasons. That is actually two reasons, but whose counting?

4. Anti-fatigue designed optical centering will provide greater comfort for intense computer use because the eye muscles will not have to work harder to turn in or converge to maintain a steady focus on the pc screen.

5. Anti-reflection coating will maximize all the possible light to the back of the eye to relieve eyestrain. Combined with the acrylic material gives the computer user the best vision possible.

6. The customized lens size and shape is made smaller to cover the top half of your eyeglasses, so you can continue to use the lower reading portion of your glasses. Your general wear glasses are now made more task specific with the clip-on, allowing you to work more productively with better ergonomics.

7. Computer Conversion Clip’s have a custom fitted boot at the tip of the clip-on lens clamp. Most other clips have the tips dipped in a rubberized material, which doesn’t last so your lenses begin to form scratch marks at the clamp site.

8. The only custom designed crush proof hard plastic case for safe storage. I am not sure if the other clip-on’s even come with cases.

9. The clips come with a one year warranty,

And now for reason number ten, for good measure, a micro fiber cloth is included for easy cleaning and maintaining clear vision.

The idea of additional lens magnification is really a simple one, however, the thought and details on how to best produce a quality clip-on lens product that will deliver the best possible result is a little more complicated. Depending on your age Computer Conversion Clips come in two dynamic powers to give the computer user the best experience. Vision takes up the majority of your brain activity; so why not treat your brain and body to a better vision and better ergonomics by working smarter and not harder with a dedicated pair of computer glasses, or a premium quality clip-on computer reading lens like a Computer Conversion Clip.

7 Computer Errors and Fixes to Try Before Calling the Repair Man

Computer errors are very common and most of the time they are easy to fix. The first thing I ask people when they come to me about a computer error is, “Have you tried restarting the computer?” I know it sounds like a stupid question, but sometimes people don’t think of this. They just continue to try to get the computer to do what they want.

If you are having a problem with something like the printer not printing or you can’t connect to the internet, the first thing to try is a reboot. If you leave your computer on 24/7 without restarting it, it may eventually get temperamental. It will throw a tantrum and refuse to do what you ask of it. Give your computer a break and shut it down when you are not using it. This will save on your electric bill too. That is always a plus, right?

If you restarted your computer by clicking restart and it didn’t fix the problem, then shut down the computer and then turn it back on. If neither of these things fixes the problem then the next thing to do will depend on the actual problem. Below I will list several common problems and how you might be able to fix them.

1. Computer won’t power up – Try plugging the computer into another outlet. Sometimes for some reason or another, the outlet that the computer is plugged into will cause interference or just isn’t working correctly.

If you don’t hear any fans running when you start the computer up, then you may need a new power supply or worse, a new motherboard.

2. A pop up constantly pops up on your computer telling you that you have a virus – Do not download this software. It is a scam. You will need to use a anti-spyware program to remove the malware that is causing this problem. Spybot and Malwarebytes are free and work pretty well. If anti-spyware doesn’t work then you may need a program that is specifically made to remove it. If you can see the name of the software in the pop up, you can Google the name and find a remover for it. Or you can Google the message that you get and find it that way.

3. A program has frozen up and won’t close – On the keyboard, hold down the ctrl, alt and delete keys (in that order) and quickly release them. The task manager will open. Click on the processes tab and find the name of the program that is frozen. Click on it and then click on the end process button at the bottom right side of the window. You can use the application tab to remove it, but usually it won’t work unless you close it from the processes tab.

4. Software you just installed won’t load – This could be a compatibility problem. If you installed software that is normally meant to run on Windows XP and you have Windows 7, then it may not run. Try this before uninstalling it. Find the software icon on your desktop (if there isn’t an icon, then make a shortcut for the software on your desktop). Right click the icon and choose properties. Now click on the compatibility tab near the top of the window. Put a check mark beside “run the program in compatibility mode” and choose which Windows operating system it needs to run under. Click OK.

Try running the software again and if it doesn’t work, you may need to run the program under administrative rights. Go back to the properties window and at the bottom put a check beside “run this program as an administrator”. If you are not the administrator of the computer, then you might not be able to choose this option.

5. “Blue Screen of Death” (Stop Error) – This is an error that shows up on your computer as a blue screen with white letters. It tends to freak people out a little, I know it did me the first time I saw it. This is just an error message that stops windows from running. Pay attention to the code that shows up with the error and research it to find out exactly what the error is from.

Restarting your computer could fix this error. If it shows up every time you start your computer, then you may have a hardware problem. For instance, faulty memory (ram) could cause this error. A corrupt windows file could also bring up this error and you may need to reinstall Windows or run Windows repair. Here is a link to read more about Windows Startup Repair.

6. No internet connection (wired) – This could be caused by several things. First, make sure all of your connections to your modem, router and computer are securely connected. If these are all connected properly, unplug the modem, router and the Ethernet wire from the computer and wait 30 seconds. Plug everything back in starting with the modem. Wait for the modem to load and then plug the router back in. After those are running, plug the Ethernet wire back into the computer.

If that didn’t work, you can right-click your internet icon and choose diagnose and repair. If that option isn’t there, right-click it and chose “open network and sharing center”. Click on the name of your internet connection and then click on diagnose. A window will pop that will try to figure out why you can’t connect. Sometimes this works, but I have found that most of the time it doesn’t.

If the above options don’t work, unplug the modem, router and shut down the computer. Unplug the power connector and Ethernet wire from the computer. Hold down the power button on the computer for 30 seconds. Plug the modem and router back in and wait for them to load. Plug the Ethernet and power wire back into the computer. Boot it up and see if your internet is working. If so, do the happy dance. If not, then you may need to replace your Ethernet wire. If you have replaced the wire then contact your internet provider and ask them if there is a problem. It could be that you have a faulty modem or router. It could also be that you will need to replace your Ethernet card.

If you have a laptop with a wireless connection and restarting your computer didn’t work, then try the first two fixes mentioned above. If that doesn’t work, try disconnecting it from the internet through the laptop. If you have a wireless switch, turn it off for a few seconds and then turn it back on. You can also disconnect through the icon in the system tray. Click the internet icon and choose disconnect. Reconnect to the internet and see if it is working. If the above tips don’t work, call your internet provider.

7. Your computer constantly freezes up, restarts by itself or just shuts down on its own – This is usually caused by a hardware problem, viruses, spyware or corrupt files. The best way to try to fix these problems is to update your anti-virus and spyware software and run a check with each one (not at the same time). If the problem is corrupt files, you can run the Windows repair software. If it is a hardware problem, you may need to call the repair man.

Regular maintenance is the best way to keep your computer running correctly. You need to keep your antivirus and anti-spyware software up to date and always running. You can also run defrag to help your computer run more efficiently. Read more about defragging here. Make sure that you aren’t using a high percentage of your hard drive space. Windows needs room to run smoothly. Also make sure there aren’t a lot of unnecessary programs running when your computer starts up. If you are using a lot of memory to run programs then your computer may lag and freeze up. You can use Task Manager to see how much memory your programs are using. Just click on the performance tab.

How to Dispose of Your Old Computer

Technology is constantly changing. New models of computers and smart phones come out faster than most people can keep up with. You can buy a top-of-the-line computer and it will be obsolete in a few short years. But when you do buy that new computer, what are you supposed to do with the old one? Did you know that there are actually laws regulating how you can dispose of a computer? You can’t just throw it out with the trash. Here are a few ways that you can legally get rid of that old computer of yours.

Sell It

This is probably one of the simplest things to do. Whether you are having a yard sale or just list your computer on a site, there are a lot of ways that you can find individuals willing to buy your computer. Even if you no longer have a use for that old model, there are many people who do.

Some people just need a computer that can surf the Internet and run a word processor, and don’t care about the latest and greatest technology. These people may be willing to buy an older computer to save money while still getting what they need. Other people are technological wizards who can build an entirely new computer from parts of different computers. These people may want your computer for its parts so that they can build a new computer for themselves.

If you don’t want to sell the computer yourself, look into selling it to a computer parts store who can either sell the parts or the whole computer for you.

Recycle It

If you have a really old computer, you may not be able to find many people willing to buy it. If this is the case, you will need to recycle it. There are a lot of trash pickup companies that specialize in bulky waste objects or other types of rubbish that can’t be put out with your weekly trash. They can take your computer and dispose of it legally so you don’t have to worry about it.

If you’re looking into computer recycling look for a company that is going to get the most out of your computer. You should find a company that is going to attempt to make use of your computer before just throwing it away. Find someone who will try to refurbish it and sell or donate it before they recycle it. That way, you can know that you are doing your part to pay it forward and protect the environment.

At Urban Renewal ( http://www.urbanrenewal.org/services/recycling-computer-repair/ ) believed that One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Just because you are done with your computer, doesn’t mean it no longer has a use. Whether you choose to go with selling your computer or want to try computer recycling in NJ, make sure you are getting the most out of it.

Computer Resgistry Cleaner Issues

Let’s talk a little bit about computer registry and registry cleaners. The registry is the holding area for the computer programs in your computer. Without a computer registry your computer would not boot up to the main operating system. There are literally thousands of lines of code in the computer registry. To keep all this code in order the registry is broken up into file drawers like a file cabinet. Each drawer holds the lines of code for the programs in your computer. When the processor of the computer is calculating the code for a program the computer processor goes to the registry and pulls the code it needs to process the request. The problem arises when there is junk files in the drawers of the registry, this can cause a fast computer to run slow.

Over time the registry gets over filled with junk files or files that are left behind when you remove programs from your computer or bad links to files that lead to a dead end. When the registry gets overfilled with garbage files the computer can get very sluggish, the compute can start crashing unexpectedly, your pages start freezing up, you may start getting memory dump issues, or worse of all you start receiving the blue screen of death when you go to fire up your computer.

The problem that I run into a lot when going out to fix customer’s system is that the customer ran a registry cleaner and now the computer has a tremendous amount of pop-ups or the computer runs worse now after they did a registry clean. If you plan on using a registry cleaner especially one that is free be prepared to have a windows restore disk or a windows reinstall disk handy in case something goes wrong and you are able to get back into Windows.

The old adage still is strong today as yesteryear, you get what you pay for. Free registry cleaners are for the most part bad for your computer. Most of the time the reason they are free is that somewhere imbedded in their software is numerous pop-up spam advertisements that will overtake your computer. The registry computer will scan your computer and have an advertisement pop-up that will say you have x amount of problems in your registry and if you pay x amount of money they will fix the issues. This is spam and I highly advise that you do not fall for this.

If your computer is running poorly I highly recommend that you find a reputable computer repair service in your area and contact them to do a diagnoses of your computer. Sometimes your computer will need to be formatted and the windows system will need to be reloaded in order to get the computer running like brand new again.

I hope this article answers your questions for computer registry cleaners.

Rise of the Machines: A Brief History of Computers

This morning, I heard my phone beep. I looked to see who was trying to reach me. It was a video call from my son, Xavier. Even though he lives across the country, we video chatted for a few minutes. I was able to see the new school clothes he was wearing – through my phone! It was a great feeling to be a part of his morning and to be able to see him even though he was 1400 miles away. How is this even possible? Through COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY – the force that drives our global society.

There have been four major development phases or “generations” of computer evolution – each with different characteristics and technological breakthroughs. Each generation has served to accelerate technological development. Through these generations, three technological breakthroughs have forever changed the engineering of computers: the Transistor, the Integrated Circuit, and the Microprocessor. Each breakthrough spurred the production of the next generation of computers, making future devices smaller, faster, less expensive and more powerful than previous generations.

First Generation (1945-1949):

Invented for military and scientific purposes, first generation computers appeared in the 1940s. They were enormous and used large, cumbersome vacuum tubes for circuitry. One of the first was the ENIAC, a monster of a machine. It weighed more than 27 tons and was roughly 1800 square feet. To put it in perspective, it was about half the size of a football field – packed with equipment. It consumed 150 kW of power – enough electricity to illuminate an entire city. The ENIAC is currently memorialized as an exhibit at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C.

Second Generation (1960 – 1964):

Between 1960 and 1964, second generation computers were built using transistors. A transistor is a tiny semiconductor switch that opens or closes a circuit. This tiny semiconductor replaced the inefficient, cumbersome, monstrous vacuum tubes, significantly reducing the size of the computer. Mainframe computers are examples of second generation computers — very large and capable of supporting hundreds or thousands of users simultaneously. They were mostly used in businesses, universities, and governmental organizations due to their extreme size and cost.

Third Generation (1964 – 1975):

An explosion in the use of computers began in 1964. This was possible with the invention of the integrated circuit. Integrated circuits are miniature transistors that were placed on a tiny silicon chip. Silicon is the basic material used to make computer chips and is one of the most abundant elements on Earth after oxygen. The diameter of a silicon chip is about the

the width of a human hair. With the advent of the integrated circuit, there was a dramatic reduction in the size and cost of computers. Mini computers were developed and became available to small and medium sized businesses.

Fourth Generation (1975 – present):

In 1975, the invention that brought to fruition the next generation of computers and totally changed the landscape is the microprocessor – the “brain” of the computer. With the advent of the microprocessor, the cost to create a computer system dropped even more dramatically. Computers become even smaller and more powerful – and, for the first time – they were affordable and accessible to a mass audience – desktops.

The Present and Future

Today, it is difficult to envision how we can manage without the countless computer devices that we use on a daily basis, from smart phones, tablets, flat and curved TVs, to electric cars, advanced medical devices, and navigational systems. Computers are still evolving and changing. We are finding new ways to make them even smaller than ever before with more complex functionality.

In the not-so-distant future, you may hear this from your doctor: “Take two of these ingestible computers and they will e-mail me in the morning.” Although these tiny devices are not yet mainstream, some people are already swallowing them to monitor a range of health issues and through computer technology, this data is shared with their doctor.

In the future, everything will be operated by computers. These next generation computers will be based on Artificial Intelligence, which is the capacity of a computer to perform operations comparable to human decision-making. Computers will understand spoken words and imitate human reasoning, even more and better than Siri – the built in intelligent assistant from Apple.

Massage in Bucharest

Recognize it! You’re busy! And so must be! That’s what life is like! But you want more than that, you want to do more for yourself and massage can help. Because massage makes more than a simple relaxation of the mind and body. It keeps your body in shape and gives you enough energy to make you enjoy a longer life better than you do it today.

Massage releases stress. At the moment, stress is a universal evil. Every time you are late, every time you avoid a car in traffic, every time you have trouble working, stress is doing his job. Each time adrenaline increases heart rate and cortisone levels and organs respond to the measure. You will be in a state of nerves and constant agitation.
When there is no release of stress, serious problems such as an upset stomach, hypertension, sleep disturbances, chest pain, or existing illness may worsen.

Some of the changes that may occur are: Anxiety, lack of concentration, depression, permanent fatigue, muscle or bone pain, sexual dysfunction, excessive sleep or insomnia

All these stress-related problems can be diminished and some can be totally eliminated by massage. The researchers concluded that a massage session can lower heart rate and blood pressure, relax your muscles and increase endorphin production. The massage also releases serotonin and dopamine and the result is a general relaxation, both physical and mental.
Our body care must be at the top of the priorities.
By adding the massage to your routine you will look much better and you will be much healthier and relaxed. Massage can improve your vitality and mood. Massage can prepare for a long and beautiful life.

Our masseuses personalize each massage session according to the needs of the individual.
Our massage parlors offer a variety of relaxation styles and techniques to help you. Apart from relaxing, massage can be a powerful ally in reducing pain, increasing energy levels, improving mental and physical performance

We recommend : HotAngels , VipZone , JadePalace , ThaiPassion

After a massage session, you will see how the mental prospects are enriched, the body allows easier handling, better pressure resistance, relaxation and mental alertness, calm and creative thinking.
When you have the impression or force yourself to stay straight, your body is not actually aligned properly. Not only does the posture look bad, but it forces some of the muscles to go muddy all day, while others become weaker. After a long time, the incorrect position may cause other drops. For example, internal organs press on what affects digestion, breathing ability is also diminished, which means that much less blood and oxygen reaches the brain and hence all sorts of other complications.

Massage allows you to return your body to the track. Allowing the body to make healthy and accurate movements is one of the greatest benefits of massage. Massage can relax and restore muscles injured by bad posture, allowing the body to position itself in a natural, painless position.
Apart from posture, there is also anxiety. One of the signs of anxiety and stress can also be heavy breathing. When the body begins to breathe too little and deeply instead of breathing at a natural rithm, it is impossible for one to relax. One reason may also be that the chest muscles and the abdomen get tightened and the air gets harder.

Massage plays an important role in learning the body how to relax and how to improve breathing. Respiratory problems such as allergies, sinuses, asthma or bronchitis are a group of conditions that can benefit from massage. In fact, massage can have a positive impact on respiratory function.

Many of the muscles in the front and back of the upper part of the body are breathing accessory. When these muscles are tight and shorten they can block normal breathing and interrupt effective breathing natural rithm. Massage techniques for stretching and relaxing these muscles improves breathing function and breathability. Massage leads to an opening of the chest as well as structural alignment and nerve dilatation that are required for optimal pulmonary function. A good way to treat respiratory problems with massage is the taping made in Swedish massage. When done on the back, along with vibrations, it can detach the mucus from the lungs and can clean the airways for better later function.

Massage not only relaxes muscles, but helps people become aware of daily stress levels. Once the body recognizes what really means relaxation, the mind can rest easily relax before the stress becomes cornice and harmful. This will help you enjoy a balanced life. Massage controls breathing, allows the mind to re-create relaxation before the occurrence of chronic and harmful stress and increases the level of energy.
